Eugene D'SILVA

One Man Band

Eugene, father of Eddie D'SILVA was well known around the neighbourhood he lived in. Neighbours and friends from everywhere would come to see him play, and he really could play.

He was known to play the Violin, the One-Stringed-Fiddle, the mandolin, guitar, banjo, and was best known for his expertise of the Saw. It seems that this kind of instrumentation is mainly folk in influence, although being 19th century India, I am unsure exactly what style he was most proficient at.
